bhogg:

this is another interesting chapter in
your book, Redemption. Indeed, every town
has "the other side of the tracks" no
matter how little some people like to
admit it.

Thanks for sharing

Jan - thanks for reading and for your kind words. Towns do indeed have the "other side of the tracks". I've lived in lots of different places, and don't think I've ever lived where they didn't. Regards, Bill

Hey, Mom, he's pretty cute - capitalize Mom as it's used as her proper name in this context
Well, Mom, I most certainly do - same thing
I like the mix of blossoming romance, certainly lust, and intrigue - just the right balance, Bill, to keep the attention of most readers. Good, natural-sounding dialogue, too, that takes on a different tone when casually discussing breakfast, showering, and when discussing the mystery. Brooke

when Jimmy get's here. [no apostrophe]

Very good read, Bill ... I know the cliffhanger thoery, but this feels as if you've left us in free fall with no cliff to hang on to! (That's a complaint, in case you didn't realise).
Pat.

Hi Pat - I know exactly what you're talking about. The challenge of writing "serial" posts is that you have to begin and end, sometimes when you really want to write some more. My FS experience tells me if I go past 1800 words to 2000 words, people start dropping out. The next two chapters are going to be slam-bang. I very much appreciate you following this book! Very warm regards, Bill

I missed a chapter while I was on holiday, but little guessed there would be a connection between Boudreaux and Dax.
I'm a bit useless with plots, so confess I am enjoying the potential romance more than the drug side of things, but that is just me, not a reflection on the story.
I chuckled a bit at Lael calling Dax and old man. Kids' views of parents, eh!
All progressing well Bill. An enjoyable tale.
Best wishes
Sally

Thanks for reading Sally. Believe it or not, I've increased the romance side based on feedback. It really wasn't in my original outline. Regards, Bill

Great chapter and it certainly kept moving. The tension held all the way through. The mystery has me wanting to know what is happening next. Good job.

I had a feeling about Gus, and I was right. Am I reading a bit of wild fire attraction between Dax and Beth? I hope so, because she seems like a really nice person, and he, well, he seems like a very sexy man. This is getting so good.

Thanks Lola. I had to bring romance in - I'm Southern. Everybody knows we are hopeless romantics! Regards, Bill

Really good chapter. I especially liked the part about eating the other's lunch, the enemy of my enemy is my friend, and the two of them giggling over Dax exercising. Very cute.

Thanks for the entertaining read.
