You have done a great job on this poem using the letters from your name. Congratulations on your win, you deserve it. I can just imagine how your screen looked as you fell asleep on the keyboard. Nice to have the leprauchan to blame.

Congratulations on your win! It is a delightful and well-written poem and with each letter of your name, you wrote a brilliant poem. Of course, when you are concentrating on writing, it has to be a mischevious leprechaun that makes you sleepy. He does the same thing to my husband, turn on the TV anytime of the day and within minutes he is out like a light.
Very creatively presented and written.
Best wishes,
Mary

Thank you, Mary. I really appreciate the review. I didn't start out to write about a Leprechaun, but after I saw all that typing he had done, I figured they probably on the prowl in March.

Hi Elizabeth,
Of course, it was a leprechaun and not you.
You can't type while you sleep. May you should take a nap before you write so the leprechaun can cause no more mischief.
Good luck in the contest.
Keep writing and stay healthy (or maybe I should say awake).

Thank Joan, I thinking of getting my husband rabbit trap and see if I can catch him. Maybe I can make him me leave a few gold coins in exchange for the trouble he's caused.

You're welcome, Beth.
Maybe a small bit of gold will make the leprechaun go away.

As I've often said, when it comes to poetry, I wouldn't know a sonnet from sorbet. But even an untrained ear can read and enjoy the rhyme, meter, and verses they can't write. To be touched my another's sensitivities.
Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Ric. I'm glad you like my poems. I like the rhymed one best.

Lol - this is a great little acrostic poem spelling your name. It is entertaining with a happy rhyme. Blaming all the random letters on a leprechaun while you sleep - very clever. Perhaps you need to set up a hidden camera to catch him in the act ;-). Well done and good luck in the competition.

Thanks for a great review. I enjoyed your comments. I like the idea of the hidden camera. I always wanted to see one of those little rascals.

Lol - those little rascals are sneaky wee things ;-) xx

Lol. This made me laugh! Four pages full of letter "t"! So funny. I am glad you managed to put it all into a poem though - it's a fun one, and well written (now that you have deleted all those "t"s. It would have been even funnier if you had left them in, except that no-one would have continued to read till the end!) Best wishes for your entry.

Thank you Wendy. I loved your review and I glad you got a laugh from my poem. I may set a trap and see if I can catch him. Someone suggested a hidden camera.

It's easy to fall asleep when sitting at the computer. So, I am right in tune with your words in your poem. March is here and St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner. Were you born in the month of March? Like your image. Your name displays a great presentation.

Thank you Rosemary. I'm glad I'm not the only one who falls asleep typing. I was born in September but I do have some Irish in my DNA.

This is a good name acrostic entry. The text is an okay size but could be one size larger. You did make your first letters standout, but color would have added to your presentation. A color like dark green.
Your message is clearly stated and easy to understand. The rhyme scheme is okay. You need to find a visual that doesn't have the company's name. The name is only removed when you have purchased the license to use the photo. If you type FREE in front of the image you are looking for. You will get numerous images without the company name. The visual fits well. Good luck in the contest. This is the best one I have read thus far.

Thank you so much Sandra, I appreciate your points and suggestions. I usually do try to find pictures with the words but I was having getting the rhyme right. I'd rhymed every other line and then I read the directions and had go back and make every line rhyme. I may change the type and picture tomorrow.

You are welcome. I used Shutterstock pics for my book. That's how I know.

What a clever way to explain those four pages of "t". Of course, it must be a leprechaun. They are known as tricksters and nothing would please them more than to play with your computer.
Excellent end rhyming.
Looks like all the criteria is met for this contest. Best of luck.

Thank you for the review and comments. It had to be a Leprechaun. This is the month for them and they are tricky little devils

I enjoyed this poem quite a lot. I've fallen asleep many times while typing, or reading a book with my fingers gripping my coffee mug. I can't tell you how many times I've dumped my coffee in my lap or on the floor. It's a good thing I don't drink coffee while I type.

Thank you Mary. It is good know that I'm not the only one that falls asleep while typing. I have dumped coffee on my keyboard before but I've only ruined one so far.

You are welcome. When I was teaching, our tech manger beat it into us that we were to never have our drinks around our laptops or iPads. I guess it stuck so I don't usually drink while typing.
