What a lovely and gentle leave taking poem, You managed to express a great deal in eight words. The picture that you chose continues the serene feeling.

For eight words this short poem says a lot. It captures both faith and sorrow in one short line. Sorry that you lost your momma so long ago and her life was cut short.

Wow. Sentiments for a loved one passed away, remembered not for a day, week, month or year but now it has been four decades. You must have been only a child. Very nice.

I was 18, too young to fully appreciate and know my mom. I appreciate her more with every day:)
Thanks, Tom for your thoughts!

Hi Tina,
A beautiful gentle eight words to allow the wind within these sails.
I love the presentation and the composition of this poem.
And when I read your notes... how sad to lose your mother at such a young age. You must have been a baby?:) Or young, either way, far too young.
All the very best in this contest... and if sentiment and beauty has anything to do with it... you are a true contender!
With our thoughts we create...
trade winds of transition.
Kind regards,
James.

I was 18 when she left us, when our world shifted. God carried us through, like He does:) Thanks for your poetic review and thoughts on my little poem!
-
Your love and zest for life is the perfect conductor for our Creator to see you through the toughest times... your beautiful smile tell me so.
-
Our Creator needs conductors. I love that thought. To be used by Him is such an honor!
HE makes me smile:)

She died quite young then - that must have been a huge grief, as you remember her with much love. I like the delightful image of her sailing off gently to heaven, with her last breath propelling her there. best wishes for the contest.

You totally get my poem and that's so encouraging. I was just 18, almost 19, when she died suddenly. A huge grief, yes, but eventually I accepted and thanked God for His plan.I appreciate your thoughts as always:)
