I love the image and also your poem. I did not get to vote for this poem but if I would have known it was posted, it would have won my vote. Glad that you placed first. Congratulations.

You sure find neat-looking graphic art here. I've only seen fireflies in person once or twice in my entire life. But they were pretty and green and Puerto Rican, called cucullos. For some reason they are not found in every part of the island. What a neat way to emphasize the importance of dreams as an implied metaphor here.

This seven-word poem, Never Lose Sight of Them, has the right number of words in it and reminds the readers that dreams are still alive and that the night will end soon.

Your short poem really created an image in my mind. Comparing dreams to the fireflies was a very clever idea and it worked excellently! Great work with this one.

Nice poem! Your word count is exact, and the tone of the poem is surreal and dreamy, as dreams are before their realized. I like the metaphor of dreams maybe flying bright through darkness--like people navigate life during the really hard times. good luck in the contest. I would say to people:
Stay well during these uncertain times, the fireflies are just outside.Your poem is good work.

Dreams compared to fireflies is ingenious! We must have dreams for that is where goals begin.
