This sounds like you are talking about me and some other members of my family.
Sometimes you get lost in your own head that you are just gone from the world. It is difficult to deal with the voices.

My, so very well written. It is apparent that this is written from the heart, and not just another poem. My son has mental problems as well, so I can somewhat relate. Hope he is well, and good luck in the contest.

Thank you for reading and reviewing. It can be hard at times but we are lucky to have them in our lives. Thank you for the six star rating.

Your sedoka is well-written, heart-wrenching, and descriptive. You have addressed a condition, that can cause a wide range of situations and emotions

This is a lovely, though very sad poem about your son's mental illness. I have depression as well as hallucinations from sleep deprivation at times. Thank you for sharing this. Best wishes in the contest, my friend~Debbie

Wow .. Schizophrenia is certainly it's own form of torture...and, as you so clearly illustrate here, not just for the person thrown into emotional upheavals in its waves... A wonderful offering for the contest - good luck! ;)

I suffer from hearing voices, sometimes. They come for a while, then they leave. I never know when they will return. I feel sad for your son. It is horrible to have your mind play tricks on you. Nice job.

Great presentation in artwork and your words about this terrible disease - schizophrenia. The second stanza in particular, dramatic, heart wrenching. Good luck in the contest, thanks for sharing.
cheers.

What a statement about our world! Am so sorry if this is a pattern you have to live with. Sometimes wonder what the world would be like if everybody was the same. Not sure, there would be the same zing...

I wouldn't want everyone the same...but it would be nice if mental illness could go away and leave us to live our individual lives. Thank you so much for reading. :)
