The colors, the vibrancy of your images and a visceral understanding of jealousy make this poem deeply rich with complexity and lush passionate green eyed creatures!

You have described jealousy very well in this poem. It is not a pretty trait. I love your green eyed monster illustration, very well chosen. I wish you lots of luck in the competition. Best wishes. Jen.

Such an intriguing and very reflective piece on a sometimes uncomfortable and even misunderstood subject -- really enjoyed your ruminations! :) :) They are very well organized and wonderfully stated...you've even developed a comfortable rhythm to them even within the chosen format -- great job!
Thank you for sharing and good luck in the contest!

Very nice descriptive expression of how destructive and evil jealousy can be, and how hurtful to ourselves unless we try to contain it. It can make us monsters, and mindlessly hurtful when it's unleashed and directed toward another.
The poem references fear as a motivator of jealousy, and I think that is often overlooked, but extremely important. Taming the monster requires insight, as the poem suggests.
