hello Frogbook. Maybe it doesn't really matter where it comes from. Maybe it was just in your heart to say something that matters. People will read and see that this one matters. We all have our moments. Well done. xoxo Kiwi

For a non-life story, you capture the feelings of loneliness and despair well. I've felt this way a few times in my life, so I should know.
Rhyming skin and seem is a bit of a stretch. The rest of the rhymes work well.
"besought by tears" may have been written by someone else in history, but that doesn't stop it from working really well here.
I approve this message. :)

God forgives. However I thought this was very creative way to express remorse after wrong decisions. The wind was a wonderful use in your poem. I enjoyed it and found it refreshing. Thanks for sharing.

I like your poem, it has a universal feel to it. I am sorry I can't wax poetic on wind at the moment as we in the back country have had all our electric off and on and off for the last couple of weeks due to the Santa Anna Wind causing fires in Cali.
I find the word' young' lurking in the poem and would like to see it perhaps somewhere in an upbeat line. Thanks though its a good read.

Thanks much. Oh gosh I am so sorry you are near this very sadly devastated area. So awful.

A sad and touching poem about a life with regrets. We all have them, but some more than others. Often we are given opportunities to fix things. But fear gets in the way. And then it's too late. Well done.

That time comes to us all, JoAnn, when we suddenly realise how near we are to that final walk. That's when we think back and do some soul searching. You've written a really thought provoking poem here, my friend, but I believe if you are sincere, it's never too late. Well done, my friend. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and fabulous 2018 :) Sandra xx

Very nicely written, JoAnn.
Sure, it's a bit of a morose, melancholy musing for sure.
No doubts about it.
But I happen to enjoy reading morose, melancholy musings, heh-heh.
Excellent...
