The picture of the ladder in the attic is so nicely suited for your story. I can relate as I used to teach Construction and Masonry courses while in the Army. Very well done. Best of fortune in the contest ~ Steve

Thanks for the review, yes that ladder shot looked very familiar ha ha. I 'would have loved to have taken a course but just learned by watching and making mistakes. Cheers, j

This memoir of how you learned the plastering trade is interesting to someone like me who is all-thumbs because (1) you use a variety of Interesting anecdotes to illustrate and (2) we learn a bit about YOU who appear to be a skillful artist who can be very generous with his time & talents.

Thanks for the review, this will make it more interesting because I am a woman.Nobody liked to plaster but I just loved doing it. The renovations were always interesting and I learned new techniques and solutions with each job. Cheers and happy New Year. j

That's a great skill. I like to buy old painted tables and and furniture in Vermont then strip and refinish them. I have a beautiful drop leaf maple table that was pretty beat up when I bought it and now it is my best piece in the cabin. Thanks for the review as I practice my prose, cheers,j
