My Favorite Tree

As a child growing up in the Ozarks, I spent a lot of time in trees. I learned if I sat very still, the wildlife forgot I was there. Trees are a source of life giving properties to nature. Your poem has nice rhyme and meter.

This is certainly a great poem for children, as in simple, easy to understand narrative a child describes exploring a favorite tree.
Nice rhyming quatrains that can be read aloud with a beautiful cadence.

What an excellent children's story. It has a great story about a child climbing his favorite tree to come across the little creatures that live within his tree. A very creative story that even though I am 67, I enjoyed reading and enjoying this.

This is very cute and something a child would definitely enjoy and understand. Great to give personality to the squirrel and I liked the use of his Mother at the end as that would be very relatable to children as well as reinforcing good behavior.
