This poem flows so beautifully when read out-loud, it has almost has a melody to it's rhymes.
Beautiful imagery in "Kaleidoscopes of butterflies".

I didn't know they were call a kaleidoscope. I had one as a child - loved it! I love butterflies too, but am saddened by the apparent decline of the Monarch. My garden used to be full of them. I rarely see them anymore.
What a bright image you've created - an image of Heaven on earth. You wrote about caterpillars the other day, so it's fitting, somehow, that you now write about butterflies.
I enjoyed this, Brooke.

Kaleidoscopes of butterflies. Feels like heaven indeed. I can see images of yellow and black. I can almost hear the gentle rush of a million butterfly wings. This a great poem.

Awesome! Though it's a kinda short, the essence of poem is present. The flow of words are precise to thoroughly convey the whole idea of the poem. Worth more than 5 of stars!

Brooke, I never knew a flock of butterflies was a
kaleidoscope. Somebody got it right for once (although a murder of crows seems appropriate, too).
I guess heaven does visit earth every now and then.
Peace, Lee

Lee, thanks so much for your generous sixth star. I never knew it was a kaleidoscope either until I Googled it while writing the poem - so glad it didn't turn out be be an unpoetic herd. I also love a murder of crows :-) Brooke

This is gorgeous artwork Brooke and a lovely rhyming quatrain on this kaleidoscope of butterflies.
If heaven ever visits Earth,
a great repeating line in this quatrain. Bright and cheery.
