A wonderful encouraging poem. This poem flows well and the message is communicated well. I like the consistent rhyming scheme. My favorite line was,"In the Lord's light resides His invisible might". You said a lot to encourage to keep trying.

Your opening verse is an interesting take on the universe and may birds on the wing symbolize endless warm life. Your second verse attempts to define God; no mean feat. The third verse attempts to link up Man's connection with the Godhead and this continues through to the end but I wonder if the persistent rhymes does not detract from the effort. Too many rhymes seem to be spurious and forced and certainly disrupt the rhythm, the life flow of poetry. =Ekim777

I enjoyed this positive and encouraging poem. Those who cry and back off will never know what they could have gained by clinging to their faith in God and pressing on. God never gives a chore to hard to accomplish.

I like the combination of using Him and one's own efforts to guarantee success in life. It definitely takes what we have inside ourselves. I don't think He expects us to place all of the expectations on His shoulders.
