Jan,
I've enjoyed reading this post, and I couldn't find any nits. Yes, teenagers know all the answers, and if you don't believe that, just ask one.

this is incredibly adorable - I am so glad my teenaliens are now twenty something people who love me. :-) You describe the total love of a little one so well and the transformation to teen with wit. I truly enjoyed this, so much so that if there was spag, I did not notice!

Ah Jan, been there, done that:-) Thing is, do you remember when the alien pod released you? LOL Small nit ... this line
You're the best youngest daughter I've ever had
best and youngest together jars a bit? Leave it to you, it didn't spoil my enjoyment of this. Tom x

LOL Thanks, Tom. I tweaked it a little. I do say that because I don't play favorites and I can't say the best daughter, because that would hurt the other ones!
Thanks again for the great review!

Great write with a sure twist of humor and very entertaining....they do grow too fast...once they reach their teens, it's hard to get that connection back until their older and wiser. Nice work. Hugs and smiles, Susanne

Thank you so much, Susanne. May I ask - did you find the first sentence confusing, regarding not trading them for the world. Another reviewer did, and I'm trying to decide whether or not I should keep that line or lose it! :-)

I, personally, like the first line...it sets up the piece quite well. Children can sometimes feel like aliens to us! lol. Hugs and smiles, Susanne

Super story/translation of experience! I found the sentence that sets up the whole matter a bit rough: "(because you are owed far more than a single planet for everything they've put you through)." That phrase, "owed far more than a single planet," just doesn't make sense. The rest of it is delightful, Jani. Let me know if you decide to make a change--will revisit! Gerry
Update: that does it! Thanks! G.

Okay, thanks Gerry. I will go tweak it and see if that helps.
