Fabulous images that really show the depth of your love in these wonderfully penned rhymes. The width and depth of your thoughts are so enduring, making this an excellent entry for the contest. Good luck.

Excellent entry in the contest. This sounds like a love poem for a beautiful hallmark card. I like how you give tribute to the beautiful creation of this world but tell how they don't even compare to the love in your heart for this person. Beautifully written and expressed. Good luck in the contest.

Thanks, Leigh Ann. You are not the first to suggest that this reads like a Hallmark Card... Maybe I could get a job with them! :O)

A really well penned love poem. It features a raft of comparative similes which try to express the expanse of feeling the poet has for his woman (male voice assumed, but not exclusive of course). All the best in the final count.

A very pleasant love poem. Comparing your love to nature's wonders gives this a certain appeal. Nice rhyming throughout. Enjoyed! Les

Hello kiwisteveh, Your poem is so very sweet and endearing. I loved every line of it, but your opening two lines, and your last two lines, are are my favorites:
OPENING LINES:
I love you more than springtime
when the sweet wildflowers bloom
(There's nothing like a "wildflower" ... she makes everything alright - lol.)
CLOSING LINES:
Though the seas roll on forever,
Oh, I'll always love you more.
(Greater than the ocean and wider than the sky)
A sweet and uplifting love poem. As this is a contest entry, I wish you good luck. LateBloomer

Nicely done, Kiwi. My two favorite things here are the last two lines of the poem and the picture. These two are also a perfect match. Good luck in the contest.

Well done, Steve, with your romantic poem of love. It is convincing in its sincerity of the love of one person for another. The very best of luck in the competition, Giddy

Thanks, Giddy - if you can fake sincerity, you've got it made! Stole that quote from the Marx Brothers.

This sweet poem within a box of roses, and I think you'd have it made;) Though short enough to go in a greeting card, it was very nice--Ted
