Hi Nancy

LOL! An excellent poem! You've really captured the Irish accent and slang so well and tell the story with such humour :) I liked the "carriage" "marriage" stanza! Great imagery, rhyme, rhythm and flow! (I think this would have won a contest :)

God bless,
Christine x

LOL! I love your summation on this one. Poor Finn, bagged and tagged before he could even get to first base. This is awesome and would have been a great entry for one of the story poem contests. I am thrilled to see your muse is not only full of energy, she is also quite slap happy. Nicely done and I thank you for sharing this with me.

This is so funny. I love poems in vernacular. I give you wee five. Not so wee after all. Loved the rhyme and quick time. Good fast read and clever too.

I love your wonderful well written colloquial rhyming rhythmic romp, ( in the hay no less) this was most entertaining Nancy, the dialogue was perfect, I is definitely something that could read or sung in the front bar of a pub! Articulate. Colloquially speaking, nice free flow, creative and absorbing, abab rhyming was good, nice tempo, well done, blessings, Roy.

This was a fun/funny story about a young romance nipped in the bud! the last line was unexpected and quite humorous. Great rhythm and rhyme. caroline

I laughed so much reading this, Nancy! It has a Benny Hill or Carry on... feel to it - British programmes and films from when I was growing up. Superb innuendo and even drama despite the laughs!! I bet the dinner table chat is slightly strained! Best wishes, Pete :)

When I saw the Title, I expected a naughty limerick, Nancy, though I admit I'm a bit of a weirdo. LOL.

In a way, the extremely funny and subtly bawdy content resembles a limerick.

This is definitely the funniest poem you've ever written, and I LOL on various occasions.

Brilliant flow and rhymes, plus local dialect.

The best thing I've read on here for a while.

Here's a sixer, but I wish I had a 'seven' available.

BRAVO!

I'm still smiling.

Blimey, you've sure showed your poetic versatility here, my talented friend.

All the best, Ray (bowing in admiration) :-) xx
