A group of butterflies is called a kaleidoscope; how very appropriate. I love butterflies. They are so pretty. thanks for sharing this lovely poem, Brooke. Hugs. Miss Sally

Gold, pah. Let's request a skyful of butterflies over a prairie of yellow daffodils. With wild crabapples to provide the fragrance. They are almost as pretty as cherries in bloom anyway. Good poem, by the way.

"Kaleidoscopes of butterflies": what an amazing mental image! This is a wonderful poem, Brooke. I very much like the repetition of "kaleidoscopes of butterflies." The accompanying artwork is stunning and is a wonderful enhancement of your perfect poetry. Thank you, once again, for sharing. Alana

Hey Brooke - I learn something new almost everyday at FS. I didn't know kaleidoscope was the grouping name for butterflies - but as you said, it is most appropriate.
Beautiful pairing of photo and poetry. This collection of quatrains is engaging and conjures up images of peace.
Heaven visits earth every day offering glimpses into why we are alive, and what to expect tomorrow. Butterflies are a wonderful example of that.
Rose.

Well, I guess that visit will be quite an event. Just imagine all de different colors. I didn't know you call a group of butterflies a kaleidoscope. I would certainly not have called it a flock, but it is good to know the correct word.

Beautiful artwork, it gives an idea of the delicate nature of the butterflies. Thank you for sharing.
