As I began to read this, and the line "the stroke of poetry takes away the heaviness of my bones" and "I pick up a pen. It becomes my rod," I started to think that you were comparing the composition of poetry, with the comfort that the Lord can give. I was delighted as I read further .."As I hold into His promise of goodness, my blank paper bursts to overflow with a banquet of syllables dressed as seeds." that you were giving God the praise for you talent. Each seed becomes a blossom and my freckled fingers feel the call to gather its petals in a symphony of rhythms, music, light.
