A deep one, Roy, not easy to get a grip on. Good to read your explaining postscript.
Sometimes it is difficult to know what you think you know because it is so fleeting. It doesn't have a face or visible form. I believe in "Heaven", I know that. But what DO I know? My mind is making up a picture of Heaven. It possibly differs from someone else's picture. Who knows best?
It is so relative...and unimportant.

Wow this is GREAT.
ghosts as written on time's scroll.
Really Strong word choices and phrasing. Love the rhythm. Cadence when you read.
And the message is HUGE. Thought, introspection, understanding, not understanding. We will know one day...
The peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and mind through Christ Jesus.

Your poetry reaches in for answers in a way that I think is common to many people as they age. Sometimes, I wish we had the wisdom to start with the insight of the elderly and work toward the joy of innocence and youth. I miss spending time with my grandparents and my own aging father. So much to explore. You always make me think.

I'm hating that I have to give this beautiful work a five when it deserves a six. I get the feeling of fragmentation as are sometimes our memories. You've expressed that perfectly. Not confusing at all :) Well done.

Roy my friend, thank you for sharing another wonderful and wisdomful poem; superb reflections that we all can relate to; man must make his choices and leave the rest to God.

Thank you for sharing your deep reflections with us. Your artwork selection establishes the mood well for your thoughts. I admired your "jeweled frame" and "ghosts" metaphors in these rhymed quatrains. Keep enjoying your "shell". Smiles- Joan

It was a more intricate and complex display of your poetic skill. Thanks for your author's notes, which put the poem in perspective. In truth, every one of us (as they say) "Don't know what we don't know."--And so accept partial empirical evidence mixed with a bit of faith and imagination to bring meaning to our reality. How comforting to know there will come a time when all things will be understood!--Karenina

The author's words are descriptive, interesting and creative. I like the 2nd
stanza especially the 1st line. "Perhaps is just as well". I try hard to
rest in God and just trust. The poem flows and connects well.
I hope you and your family are doing well.....Maria

Hello, Roy,
I know what you mean. I have been questioning myself and feeling introspective too. Nice poem, my friend, and I like the presentation too.

When it comes to the spiritual world we need to find a place where we feel comfortable and calm. There are certain places where I find this kind of peace and I stay for as long as I can before returning to reality. I enjoyed your dreamy journey here Roy, love Dolly x
