A very well-written poem about the life of a sailor's wife. She will always be second in line, the ocean is his first love and often takes his life while the waiting at the shore waits in vain.

This is a sad and poignant verse. In your description, her waiting hope crumbles before our eyes and the final veil of sadness consumes. Very well done and the artwork is good too.
