New to poetry and its styles and structures, I have to trust my ears and eyes for what touches me. The God of procreation sets your searching heart adrift on a nightmare journey that turns from lonely, to lunacy. I maybe way off base; however, your words forced me to think. Thanks for the enjoyable poem!

This is excellent Tony, and what a wonderful read it was! Certainly not my favorite style of poetry, but you kept it more than just interesting and I commend how you weaved history into the lines!

This is a lovely flowing poem and it has nice imagery. You have made good use of language and rhyming techniques. It reads very well and I enjoyed it immensely. Commendable.

I like the form of your poem
you capture my attention from the first line to the last.
I could vision someone battling the strong winds and high seas to The Isle of Lesbos.

Thanks, Rondeno. It was quite a challenge to start with, then it began to flow. Sometimes just getting started is the hard part!
