Wonderful jump off for another layer to the truth.
The plan was always for Adam to "fall". They were commanded to "multiply and replenish the earth". That was not possible while in a state of innocence in the garden.
So we inhabit the world, tested and tried to choose the right, make choices, and ultimately return to our God.
Excellent.

This is a good poem about the fall of man and then his redemption through Jesus.

Here are some other comments I had as I read:

I never really thought of Adam eating the fruit decided to take on the vision of the deceiver. That is a interesting thought.

Yes, the ego trip is truly what it was, that Adam wanted to be like God.

It is good that God created a way out from the fallen beings that men are.

Overall, a good poem with a good message.

Absolutely brilliant, in my opinion. It's nice to see the man accept the blame for his role in the fall, rather than putting it all on Eve - though it was a joint transgression. I like the theme of becoming a different image than expected. Some of my favorite lines (there are a lot of them):

the original Prometheus who would make me an effigy of his own fallen self

I took an ego trip

I did not recoil, instead I chose to have my eyes opened

blinded by his lies; a forgery of the divine image

And of course, there's my favorite part at the end:

We are the lost sheep, He is our Shepherd.
We are the fallen, He is our Savior.
We were condemned to die, He is the way to eternal life. For He is truth. He is Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

The poem about Adam is very well written and the analogy quite obvious. Using Adam as a constant in this sense works very well in the poem where it aids with the rounding of the body and the structure is also supported very well. Nicely proportioned and well presented with a fine extension on the grammar. Well done. Kind regards.

Well, this is written in the format of a poem, but this is really a great prose, narrated by Adam, that has been formatted like poetry. This was good writing, but I'm thinking it really should be listed as a spiritual essay of some kind.

Very nice.

The mighty cadences of this poem recall the majesty of the King James Bible. There are also Classical allusions thrown in there, too.

A tragic story indeed for the fall of man in Adam # 1. We have been banish from heaven to learn our lessons on Earth. But how many can truly claim that we have been honest and true ion our approach to learning those lesson. The devil is always playing us out as a punishment.

Life offers 'a body of evidence' of what lessons need to be learnt and overcome. have we. Finally we have to look up to God and Jesus for our salvation.

Like our first forefathers, starting all over again and yet the test will proved to a very tough one.

Excellent imagery and descriptive prose to tell the story. Chers, Ritchie.

    Hi Ritchie,

I really don`t think we will ever learn. Sure when something tragic and really big like the earthquake in Haiti for example happens we all come together for a while...but then we go back to doing what we usually do...ignore the problems until something jolts us awake...we have a problem overlooking ourselves...thanks so much for reading and reviewing...I really appreciate your insightful comments...blessings.

    Hi Idamarty.

Your comments are so true. We cannot blame ourselves cos everyday is so busy even on a BORING day, LOL.

If you have read my "Ancora Imparo - I am still Learning" and the sequel 'A Body of Evidence", and this poem of yours is PART 3, then it will all tied up the loose ends with a very good case study for mankind, LOL.

    Thx for sharing. Blessings, Ritchie.
