Hi There tomprato. I thought this was perfect 5/7/5....but knew before I read it , that there would be no accompanying image, as your subject matter, via the title let me hope you would paint for me in words....of course you succeeded 100%
Bravo

Hi tomprato,
From the description I was expecting a photo...
They say a picture paints a thousand words but why use a thousand when you can use 11 to paint a picture just as vivid?
Great haiku, well done.
Ezekiel.

You have translated for us in poetry a different way to look at just a green grape. It's really part of a sophisticated feast of the eyes and tongue.

Interesting 5-7-5. From artistic impression, I was expecting a beautiful photo or still life. I see that your art is painted with words! Debbie

How silly. Poetry doesn't need pictures to support it.

Good work on the 5-7-5 syllable structure, clear message that speaks volumes, good imagery.
Enjoyed reading and would definitely recommend others-specially wine aficionados.

Very nice picture with words, Tom. I never thought of grapes in that light, but you would be right in your vivid description of same. Bravo! Bob

Dear Tom,
A fine vintage haiku, full of wonderful fruit taste with a little after thought of poetic grace.
Warm regards,
Winslow

Don;t think I ever read a poem about grapes before, but this was very pleasant and vissual. I like how you described the grapes as transluscent. That was good imagery. Nice poem.
