With snow on the ground and more to come over the weekend, we are anxiously awaiting spring's return with flair! Autumn is lovely here in New England - with the changing leaves. But the old bones prefer the warmth now of spring and summer. I enjoyed this piece.

A very lovely nature poem, with delightful descriptions of scenes typical of autumn. I like the fact it's written in hexameter, rather than the more common 5 or 7 beats. It gives it a unique flavour. Very nicely done.

Oh Robyn, Your encouragement has had a profound affect on my writing. I was going through a dry spell when I wrote "Another Monday Morning Rain". Your review started me looking through my journals and tablets where I write a line or word that I find interesting and found this October poem. You have really helped me "up my game" and I look forward to finding more nuggets to get me back to being creative. Thank you. You're the best.
