First, congratulations on your work being recognized. Second, this is an absolutely beautiful piece of work. The sentiment and feelings are prevalent. It reminded me of how I felt (and still feel) about my late husband. When he passed away, I almost died, as well.

A happy love poem to a lovely lady. Very nice. Nice rhyme, time and length. We who have enjoyed marriage understand these feelings. Me? 43 years, so I understand. Sorry for your loss. Your poem is a nice reminder of things to not be taken for granted.

Your poem appears to be a true life story about your beloved and I assume the picture is of her. I am always happy to hear stories of true love. It is wonderful for the couple but it is also wonderful for other people because it gives them hope that it could happen to them one day.
I particularly like this line in the first stanza: "When awake and when I sleep" and "She's burned in my heart" from the third stanza.
