There is a sweetness woven into the sadness of this verse, whether you believe in ghosts or not. But if there are ghosts who need to be comforted, I would hope that we could do so. Really nice poem.

I really loved your poem about the little girl lost. Sometimes a violent death leaves the person wandering, looking for her life as she knew it. They often reach out to the living to seek rest and family for help. In life, I have experienced this from a friend who died a violent death and her question was, "why did I have to die like this?" K XX

Ooh. Spooky and yet rather beautiful. The rhyme and rhythm are perfectly natural and controlled. I like the way she disappeared on being put straight about her situation. Clever!

I loved your poem for oh so many reasons.
First the rhyme although not always perfect is wonderful .... the story is really good and the entire poem written in a nice and dark font, which makes it super easy to read, is great...
Oh yes, and the photo really is the type that makes a reader want to read your poem...

I sure hope Jenny found her family. I was very touched by this poem, and loved the structure and flow as well. I guess I'm wondering - and I wouldnt be alone - is this biographical? Did you actually have this dream about Jenny? If so, wow, what an experience! And a successful one, as it appears she went towards the light and (presumably) found her kin.

Thank you for your review. Yes, this is a dream I have quite often. Some of my dreams are good, some not so good. Dreams are my main source for my poetry.

A very well-written poem about a little girl's ghost who doesn't know she is dead and still roam to find her family. When she is told that she is dead, she will go towards the light.

Thank you! This Is a real dream I had many years ago. My wife woke me and sad I was crying in my sleep. I have had many such dreams. I keep pen and paper next to my bed. I get much of my poetry from dreams.
