This is a beautiful tribute to Australia Day and a celebration of your lovely country! I have visited it twice and been to Sydney and to the Gold Coast, but I know there is so much more to explore there, have a great day Christine, love Dolly x

What a wonderful patriotic poem. You have a right to be proud of your country. I don't think you've ever been at war with a neighbor, unlike most nations. And kangaroos have to be the coolest animals on Earth. :)

Hi Phyllis, Thank you and yes We are lucky to be able to go anywhere and be peaceful and happy. I do love the kangaroo also they are quite magestic ( But I must say kangaroo is also a tasty meat and quite popular. Yes we do eat our national emblem ) But also there are many here. Christine,

Happy Australia Day!! It's always kinda funny to me to think that you are actually a whole day ahead. That's crazy. But the world is an amazing place. *smile*

This was a cool piece and it celebrates the uniqueness of your country really well, imo. The lovely colors add to the fun.

Some notes:
1.) My (country's)countries riches, now declare.
--> singular possessive

2.) Her secrets shared with those (who) see
--> when you refer to a human, please use 'who' instead of 'that'

3.) We are the wealth; of this great land.
--> no punctuation needed in the center.

Thanks!

Hi Robyn. I am so glad you look out for me LOL I feel such an idiot at times and it nice to have friends who will fix me up Ha ha.
Thanks so much for your review and lovely comments . Yes it is the 26th here and I wanted to acknowledge our day.
Question Just who is ahead or behind? it is funny how our time differences work and so many hours difference depending where you live in the world. Many Cheers Christine Oh I have to stand I can hear our National Anthem on the radio

Well, I can tell you this: my day is the same as FS?s day, so today is still the 25th for me. And if you notice the site time, when you look down in the right corner, you?ll see that their day flips at 12:00 midnight. (They?re on Eastern time)

I?m an hour early to FS so I can actually post ?the next day?s material ? at 11:01 pm my time (I?m Central time)

Anyway, when I ur clock day say25, your zippy clocks are saying 26!!!

Does that help or muddy things even better??

Hi Robyn I think also the difference is that we are in different hemispheres me in the south and you in the north and Victoria Australia is currently on Australian Eastern daylight saving time so we get an extra hour of daylight I love it and sad when we shift back to normal. Oh I can hear some Thunder in for a storm after some muggy hot weather Cheers Christine

Yay! Happy Australia Day! Thanks for letting us know! Australia sounds like a fascinating place with interesting people and such amazing wildlife!

A couple of grammar points:
"My countries riches, now declare." (country's)
"where kanga's roam," (kangas) plural not possessive
