Excellent

This is an all too familiar and sad story about WWII. It is well written and I liked the buildup to the sudden evacuation. So many families were separated and never seen again. It is just heartbreaking. I have a question. Is it ward rope in Denmark? I ask this because it is wardrobe in standard English. Other than that small nit, I didn't see anything that needed to be corrected or changed. I think this is an excellent entry for this contest and I sincerely wish you all the best.
