Sorry to hear that you've had such a tough experience to go through. I know many who been through it and there aren't many word choices that can help too much.

A lady I've known since grade school is a survivor. She's had to undergo treatment five different times. I pray she doesn't have to go through it again. She's been an inspiration to me in overcoming my relatively petty problems.

Hello again Barbara
I am glad I came back today for a last look. I understand so many of your feelings. Agent Orange )from the Vietnam days) is taking its toll on my body. it takes 14 pills in the morning and five at night to keep me alive. I am happy to be alive and although some days are the pits, I cherish the time I have with my sweet wife and children. Life is good and I will keep you in my prayers

A well-written and informative article that doesn't turn into a pity party. I have friends who went through chemo so I now have a better idea of what they went though. Nice touches of humor, too. You have to laugh. That's healing too.

I felt I have no choice but to laugh through it. Usually when I felt really bad and started having a pitty party, something would happen and make me laugh, and I was fine. Thank you for the kind reviw.

Good luck. As my son said when my elderly cat ade it clear that she wasn't putting up with his idea of what was reasonable in looking after her - "he soon discovered he'd completely underestimated his enemy."
