Interesting and captivating story. I really enjoyed reading it and had to chuckle (sorry) and smile to myself. I think it is a lovely story and well written and understandable to even the untrained eye or reviewer(like myself)trying to look intelligent. *smile*

Great story. The horse looks so much like one I saw on the cover of a book I read, The Red Pony, by Steinbeck. I'm sure you have read it and know how it comes out. I'm glad your story is a happy one. Do you know why girls always seem to be so attracted to horses? Cheers. Ray.

Thank you Ray, I really appreciate the review. I've read most of the horse stories. I can't say I know exactly why girls are so attracted to horses but if you know, I'm afraid to ask. LOL

What a chuckle. I chuckle because a similar event happened in my life. We were "lucky" because we were able to sell the horse to a young lady who needed a jumper for competitions and our undisciplined horse was chosen. We all know it's not the animal's fault but the owners. I loved your story. It was very well written. One sentence that I loved was:

He read me like a flashing neon billboard.

I know what you mean!

I like the captivating quality of your opening lines. Reading about horses is not really my stuff, but this one got my attention. Your plot is nice and well developed. kudos
