This is fantastic. A wonderful eulogy which is written well and was interesting to read. I enjoyed every word of it, and I'm sure others have too. Kat

Well, I think this would be a wonderful tribute to a wife, mother and acquaintance. It's strange to be asked to write your own eulogy, but I guess it's similar, in a way, to writing your autobiography. The ideas are well organized and the prose is flawless.

This is such a loving tribute from a daughter to her deceased mother. Aside of being a wonderful career woman, this mother had another more important tasks that she had fulfilled: the best friend of her daughter and the hero of her son. Interesting 'eulogy'.

Thank you for reading and the generous review. One can only hope for this kind of eulogy.
Comment from Matoshka
This was such a moving and loving eulogy. To be remembered for the good you did and the people you helped. To have abstained from earthly wine just to drink it with Christ in Heaven is sweet. Them memories she leaves with family and friends are inspiring. The love of a small boy going up and saying, "My Mom was My Hero," is the most precious. Good luck in the contest. This was just beautiful.

Thank you for reading, and your kind thoughts. This was more difficult to write than I thought; and the story that flowed was not the story I set out to write - but I'm happier with this one. Thank you for your well wishes,

Your so very welcome, it was wonderful. Blessings.

A loving and touching story of a life well-lived. We all hope we will be remembered for the important contributions we make, but in reality, it is the little, everyday things we remember most. This was well-written, flowed smoothly. I especially like the idea of sitting with Christ and enjoying heavenly wine together. Well done. Good luck in the contest.

There are days when the image of having that glass of wine with Christ when all is said and done, is all I need to get me through ANYTHING!! Thanks for reading and your well wishes.

Very well written tribute to this woman who was obviously so respected and beloved by all and in particular, her family. It helps so much that you keep the tears back when you talk about someone who had just died- but it also helps, when you are with your closest ones, to mourn, to cry, to talk about the one who's gone, over and over, remembering each detail. (I digress, and I am sorry)> This piece was beautiful, sensitive and rich with emotion.

Thank you for reading, and for your generous review. It was difficult to write a eulogy for myself; I only hope that half of these nice things are said!

Remember what your daughter said, and don't worry about it. Marcella
