Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

This is a six star piece of prose poetry. This has a poetic feel in it and it has an emotional output that speak to the poet, any poet. This was all that and a bag of chips. This was just an outstanding written piece that has a vivid score of what the poetic arts are for... John

Interesting!

Liked these lines especially: my blank paper bursts to overflow with a banquet of syllables dressed as seeds. Each seed becomes a blossom and my freckled fingers feel the call to gather its petals in a symphony of rhythms, music, light.

Well done!

Good job!

I like psalm 23 very much. I just don't like the metaphors that have sexual connatations like "rod, seed, blossom, and sacred balm. My mind was not in the gutter. The last thing I read had mature content which I stopped reveiwing! I don't like giving negative reveiws to anyone. pugrpoems.

The description on why you write poetry is very good. We all have our reasons for writing. Your reasons sound almost spiritual I think there's a different reason for every person who writes.

Love this whole piece....
My favorite: Each seed becomes a blossom and my freckled fingers feel the call to gather its petals in a symphony of rhythms, music, light.... You are an "open" vessel.....
Love it all the way through even after these lines.....
If you get a chance in my portfolio on the second page read,The Library of the Soul, Psalm 23.... I think it will bless you, as well... Bryan

Nice personal application of Psalm From the Sheep by David. taking the words of the Great Poet of Israel and adapting them to your own situation. The passion in your words is very apparent and I can sense the catharsis that this revelation has given you.

Hi Robert, oh yes, it was a catharsis when i discovered His revelations to me. Thank you for reading so well in between the lines. Bless you.

Would that I had six stars left to give for this touching, poetic explanation of why you write poetry. Very profound and should have a good chance in the contest. Just lovely.

A very interesting way of putting why you write, associating it to the 23rd psalm. Your use of words is amazing and even this prose sounds like poetry. My favorite line is "overflow with a banquet of syllables dressed as seeds." Very well done and good luck in the contest.

A very nice work, which tell about every author, poet, sculpturer, painter or what not. He who creates know the world of creation.
However a very small suggestin on this line--the verdant peak of a tree, the square root to infinity.
Since the the square root to infinity is metaphor for encapsulating the wisdom of thought in your essence, I would suggest to change "Verdant peak of tree" to "Inverted tree". The wisdom flows from the inverted tree as if it is poured from heaven. This is just my personal outlook.
Enjoyed your beautiful creation.
