Superb, Brooke, and quite and undertaking. Interesting to note that you have an eye for fairy fashions and have dressed them with your own designs! If I gave you two thousand dollars to doll up, how would you appear?

I think the most expensive outfit I've ever worn cost $200, and that was a rarity! I'm not a lace and pearls type :-)
Thank you for your wonderful review :-) Brooke

I knew you'd say something like that. Bless you.

Ah, Brooke. Such lovely sentiments. Where in the world can we find a man like that??? Love the way you put words together--bride in buttermilk--delicious! Enjoying this little series and am heading over to the next one:). Thanks for sharing this with us, and take care,
Heather

Thank you, Heather. If I knew where to find a man like that, I'd keep it to myself until I had first pick at least! LOL Brooke

What a marvelous celebration you have described here, Brooke. Makes one feel like they are there and observing the beauty of this happy day.
... but none outshone the bride in buttermilk,
organza lace and pearls upon her dress.
The groom stood proud, his crown of saffron gilt,
a stately king who could not but impress,
Wherever do you find the words ... they are so well placed and flow perfectly.
The ending ... those times when we are caught in the moment and the outer world is forgotten and those horrific wars- -would that all would simply lay down their arms and 'join in the celebration'.

This little wedding of the fairies is delightful. I can imagine this handsome king marrying his little fairy princess dressed in buttermilk organza lace adorned with pearls. How lovely.

Well Brooke, after reading the first, I just had to read the middle. I am looking forward to reading the finish of this make believe. It was enjoyable.

Ah, if only marriage and joy could actually bring this about in the world that we inhabit:
no predators nor prey this day of peace,
as all, of one accord, sought war's surcease.
An interesting format. I assume you would this is meant to be read as one longer piece.
A mini-epic? As it is about faerie creatures...that is quite apropos .
Charming.

Yes, the three parts will be meant to be read as one longer poem - I'm just posting it in three parts because I'm writing it as I post and it takes a long time to do each verse. Thanks, my friend. Brooke
