The Beach Boys were one of my favourite groups back in the sixties, I think I knew the words to all their records. They were something special, I love the way you have written this bringing in some of their well known titles. Well done, Debbie! :)) Sandra xx

As I read your poem, I smiled with such fond memories. I like how you incorporate the song titles into your piece. My dad was a huge Beach Boys fan, had all their albums on vinyl. My favorite was 'Pet Sounds' with 'Wouldn't It Be Nice' and 'Sloop John B'. I still love listening to them.
One thing you might find interesting: I know you mean the sunshine state as California, but Florida has the title of 'Sunshine State'. California's is actually 'Golden State'.
