I like this dramatic script, monologue quintet, in 5 Acts, with realistic descriptions, monologue role playing characters, nice taletelling in free flow of thoughts; well said, well done; enjoyed the read; thanks for sharing this; keep writing. ALCREATOR

Thanks for stopping by. I would have loved to get inside Jim's head--he was inscrutable in life, and alas, when I channeled him for the script he remained stubbornly secretive. All other characters I've invoked in my years of writing have been entirely forthcoming--indeed, they spew shocking revelations such as I could never have imagined! Cheers. LIZ

What a wonderful story. You got into the head and heart of all the characters so much that this could have been non-fiction. Well done! I'm waiting for more of your work.

Interesting way to do a script. I feel like you took the way some TV shows interview individual characters to get a feel for what each one is thinking. The monologues are quite eloquent and poetic and each one could be a standalone short story post.

Suggestions:
"When I went on line " (online)
You may get more reviews if you made your posts shorter, as this one could have been several posts.

Thank you. The fix is in (i.e the space is out). You are indeed correct about getting more reviews for shorter posts. Usually I get the two freebies shortly after posting (without promoting)--this one got zero until I put some $$$ to entice! Cheers. LIZ

This is an excellent script. I really enjoyed reading it, and from the way the voices resounded in my mind it is obvious that it was meant to be read aloud. I especially liked Jim's "voice", and spent a lot of time rolling the words
"It's only a matter of time before time doesn't matter."
around my mouth.

Thank you, Katharine. Sorry for the delay--I'm working backwards through five days' worth of "fan mail." I'm pleased that you liked the "sound" of the script. I'd love to hear it performed! Cheers. LIZ

Great story that is very well written with clear insight into a unique man's personality and his choices for his life. It's great that certain people could accept him as he was and respect his wishes. Bill

I truly enjoyed your script. It is very well written and I could follow along easily. I felt like I got to know a bit about the people that knew him better than most. I was able to feel the feeling each was feeling while talking about Jim.

What a sad script, loved by everybody but known by anyone.Dyeing alone tails or head, and falling on his head. I think you can read this script as small mini-stories. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your next writing.

I enjoyed reading this again.
You have certainly created the portrait of very private man. It sounds like it had a lonely life by his own choosing. To be so well liked by so many who felt he was a friend but really knew nothing about him. I feel like I've known people like that. Hermit souls who throw parties and seem to be a friend to everyone but shy away from opening themselves up to vulnerability Well written.
