What a lovely poem that describes FS to a T. I really enjoyed reading this lighthearted poem. I often think about leaving as it is quite an expensive hobby but it's also lots of fun.Thanks for sharing. Best wishes. Jen.

Thank you so much for your beautiful review! You said many lovely things about my poem. Please don't leave FS. My secret: I only ever paid the annual sign up fee. I just keep reviewing other people's work, until I accumulate enough FS $ to promote my own. If we were more financially set, I could spend money on this, but we're both on Disability. Maybe if one of us had a job, it would be different! At least this way, I have time for all the reviewing... until I tire myself out, lol. Best wishes to you too! And God bless you.

Your poem is creatively-composed and vividly descriptive in choice of examples. I too find my experiences on Fan Story challenging,
rewarding--and amazing. I simply cannot make enough funny-money
to promote two poems EVERY day, as some do! I could by member dollars, but I never do.

Thank you Janice, for your excellent, thoughtful and encouraging review! I paid the yearly membership fee, and I promote my few posts by reviewing alone! It's somewhat time consuming, but I am home on Disability so it's not impossible and besides it's a pleasant way to "earn." :-D

My caliber of writing will never be up to most of the group, but I work at it and I love reading everyone else's. And you are a lot better than you say you are in the poem! Dear Terry. Your writing has truly touched my heart, so please don't say that it's below anyone's caliber. I think there are only two writers in this group (other than myself, lol) whose writing has made me cry, and you are one of them. I don't cry very easily, and when I do, it's usually very cathartic, so please know that it's a compliment. (Yes. My own writing has made me cry, on occasion.)

I guess I don?t want poetry to be too much work. Mine comes from my heart, is all true, and it is a release I need. My ideas come from inside and are always nonfictional.
