Thank you June for the encouraging review. This is really a kyota which is a Japanese poem like a tanka that does allow humor. I'm sure the committee with disallow it as it is not strictly a tanka. But it was fun to write.

A very well-written Tanka about the chicken and the egg and the age-old question about which was first. In my humble opinion, the chicken was created by God and for that reason, the chicken was first and then she lays the first egg.

So it must be the same, they came together in the same egg. The cute little chickens are here freshly laid. Ive see a few hens eat their own eggs! I think the picture is totally appropriate, visually you have this one in the bag!

And since around here, the P.O. delivers Amazon packages (for why, I don't know) it could be the egg will be smashed to smitherines (sp) therefore your question will never be answered I guess.
