Your picture comment only serves to enforce the truth of anti-Trump-ism in the press. Don't remember them making his statement of belief about needing "to love each other"...visible.

With all the hate rhetoric going on these days, it's interesting to me that a non-American has such supportive ideas of traditional American political ideologies.

I remember when we (Americans) were made to believe (through our Press Services) that all the world hated Americans. I ended up living in Germany at the time and though their country had politically violent/terrorist groups, when it came to it...they (the populace as well as dignitaries) made it clear that Germany appreciated having us on military bases as a defensive wall against Russia. (now I'm started and there isn't space here...)

So, now the Press wants us turning on each other! They've done a good job.

I'm glad you take such an interest in what's going on here and that you do exercise your freedom to speak your opinions, even when so many Americans are being beaten down and expected to be 'politically correct'.

Good for YOU! and good for America...egotist that I am, I think our ideology has been infectious...in a good way!

Hi Nassus:

We are a country divided, that is certain. It is nearly impossible to find a news source with unbiased reporting. Everything is slanted to someone's agenda. I wish they would just stick to the facts (all of them, without omitting to provide their slant) We would all be better informed if that were the case. Thanks for the extremely truthful write. I appreciate your perspective.

As a Brit I watch with interest the different versions of events following the new President.
And I think you're right their are two sides to each story and we shouldn't believe everything we read. Your words portray the bias press the world over have, their influence and their power. I've always believed in facts so Time will tell.
