Well written and an interesting story. A romance and a thriller combined? Looks like it with Russian mafia and missing paintings.

BTW, in the character list, does Shana have more than one family or should that be family's?

This work has reached the exceptional level

The mystery continues to grow. Poor Shana just wants to be left alone and go home. Doesn't sound like that will happen any time soon!
The Russian mafia guy sounds like someone to avoid.
Check this sentence: 'With a nodded Philip answered the elevator'

This is such an exceptional story filled with suspense and mystery. What is the Russian mafia's interest in the painting?
Great writing.
One thing:
"With a nodded Phillip answered the door."
With a nod.
Keep it coming.
