Exquisite and endearing writing. While the faerie lights may beguile it is your writing that enthralls. I do not know if this is a contest entry but I know it is a winner. The artwork is wonderful also. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for sharing this lovely example of the rarely seen Pantoum Sonnet. As well as painting a pretty picture, your words weave a rather ominous story of the dangers in these 'faerie lights' - indeed, perhaps the first warning may have been in that spelling - much more suggestive of the real supernatural, if there is such a thing, than the more common and modern 'fairy.
Lovely poem - no sixes left, sorry.
Should 'you best' be 'you'd best....'?

I appreciate the thought of a six. I' did make the change you suggested. Thank you for catching that. Yes, do watch out for those faerie types. They like to trick humans and what they think is funny.... Well, you never know...
