I fully agree with you. I love butterflies. If there were enough butterflies maybe they could fly me to where I am supposed to be. I like the repetition of Kaleidiscope of butterflies line in each stanza. It keeps the strong image alive.
I like the artwork. I don't see many butterflies anymore. But I love monarchs.

I loved kaleidoscopes as a child. It was so fascinating to see the colors collide into beautiful images.
I used to spend hours outside hunting butterflies just to watch them flit from one flower to the next and marvel at their beauty.. Your poem brings back happy heart memories of those days.

Cool! I never knew that was what a group of butterflies are called. I sometimes wonder what heaven will be like. Butterflies on command would be a pretty cool thing.
