You have written a beautiful piece on the realization that sometimes you get left behind by death or other cause for separation. You write with wonderful aababa rhyme scheme with beautiful phrases. I loved when realized your free to be.

Divorce can be difficult, but it's even sadder when two unhappy people stay together for whatever reason. I love the picture you chose. It's so appropriate.

A great read. I didn't realise until the second read that it was about divorce. Initially I thought it was like a personal re-awakening. It is a very true write, and flows smoothly. Rings true to being left by a love.

i loved this part.
it never is easy to cut common world apart, yet sometimes, as you've realised as well, there comes a relieve at the end. and some sweet freedom.

and rarely are things as they seem,
but dreams still have a place where hearts are free.

It happens so much. So sad for the children of the parents, but it would be worse for them to live in a home without love. We never know when we say those immortal words,'I do'
