Nice poem that brings life to your hobby for us to share. I too am retired and at 52 I have a lot of living ahead of me. My wife and I are 27 years married, but in the last year of my full time employment at the "Honey Do Corporation", it is obvious that I'll need to find a way to keep our hearts strong. You've done that for yourself, and in a great and productive way. Great job with the poem and your hobby. Sean

Thanks Sean for your great review. In my opinion, if you have recently retired and if you possibly can, find yourself a hobby,
one that sort of separates you and the wife for awhile each day.
I've been married for 43 years and a woman needs their space. Thanks again my friend and have a great day. Bill

Very delightful poem friend. I love how you describe how you keep the coffee cup on the shelf and keep busy and give your wife space as well. What a wonderful way to keep healthy.

I did enjoy reading this. A person does need a hobby to keep them occupied, especially in winter. I was able to picture you working on your hobby because the details were clear and written nicely with rhymes and flow. Nice illustration too.
