Mike K2, you have a real talent for taking news stories and turning them into good poems. Not everybody can do that. Then you take the time to give people the history for those of us who wouldn't have a clue what you were discussing otherwise. Thanks. This is anothe good piece of writing by you.

Thank you very much for your compliments and review. I really don't enjoy doing this type of work, but I haven't seen this line of thinking presented an try to get it out there the best way that I can.

I read this piece on political issues, but I see is not a political issues but a human issue. I enjoy writtings inspired in our philosophies and passions. They deserve my greatest respect.

I would resiste the temptation to be understood, and let the poem do the talking instead of your authors notes. Which I did not think accurate. It is just your opinion, and nothing else.
The poem is good, i enjoyed it. I think it should stand alone. I noticed nothing jarring about the work and would recommend it to other readers for review, cheers, Abby
