Hi there,
I just love reading your words... Especially the details in your authors notes... This makes the time I spend reading even more enjoyable.
I am crazy about Joni Mitchell...at one time I could sing every one of her songs by heart!
This really brought back so many fond memories!
Thank you,
Lisa

I YouTubed Joni Mitchell and also listened to the video you supplied. I should, but for some reason, do not remember her music. Thank you for sharing this amazing lady with us.

Thank you so much, Barbara, for kind review which I greatly appreciate! For me, she dominated the 70s in particular here in the UK. Some wonderful and very memorable songs. Thanks again, Debbie

Both Sides Now and Yellow Taxi are my favorites from the talented Joni Mitchell. She's still hanging in there at 79, and remains an iconic voice of our times. Thank you for sharing and accurately so. The art is as I remember her.

My mother suffered a similar anurysm as Mitchell, and also survived. It was a way of altering one's life, I think. Glad to see her out and about and in your fine poem today.
Blessings abundant,
Sal XOs

Thank you so much, Sally, for this very kind review which I greatly appreciate! She was an incredible performer with the sweetest voice. That voice has now changed and deepened but she can still mesmerise her audience. And was seemingly undeterred by that medical event. Bless you for your time, Debbie

Hi Debbie, I really enjoyed your poem about an artist I wasn't familiar with. I absolutely enjoy learning new things.

I appreciate the time and effort you put into research and am astounded at the way you compartmentalized it into stanzas.

Brilliant job,
Rhonda

Thank you so much, Rhonda, for such a kind review which I greatly appreciate! For me, her wonderful music dominated the 70s in particular, alongside artists like Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Crosby, Stills and Nash etc. Her poetic lyrics are amazing and often summed up that changing era. Take care Debbie

I?ll have to look into it. I?ll bet my sister knows about her. She was really into music during that period. Lol, she still is.

This is lovely poem that you explain in detail in your notes. Her name is very familiar but I confess I've never heard her sing before this cut you furnished. She has a beautiful voice. Thanks for sharing her story.

Well, by now you must be so sick of my repetitive accolades with this masterful poems about the artists of our time. But it's my birthright as a Jewish Mommie to repeat myself, so here goes:

This is so rhythmically perfect, and, as always, the rhymes fit just right. You have such a knack for never, ever forcing them! This one, in fact, is so good, Joni, herself, would just love it.

I honestly do feel that you should publish all these into one fabulous book. There is not a doubt in my mind but that it would the hugest of hits!! This is just one more gem. I honest-to-gawd look forward to these each week...and you never but never disappoint.
