How does one psychoanalyze a professor of psychology? Your poem really does challenge my reading. I saw several examples of classic phrasing. Verse 4, line one. 'On the chill of a breeze,' simply superb.
The I come to verse 9 where the entire four lines scream of a caring and supportive friend.
If I ever need a psychologist, I may need an appointment.

Interesting take on mortality and fragility of our future. I get a sense here that it is like talking to yourself, and as we age, we have these conversations and imagine what shape our future will take. I liked the unforced natural sound of the rhymes and the cadence, but the way handled the subject was better than good.

A very interesting subject, reminds me of a poem by Robert Louis Stevenson. This is self-therapy by a therapist! I was a teacher and I often think I should begin by teaching myself! I like the picture which certainly complements a fascinating poem!
