A heartthrob poem. Life's love dream recited by soft tender lines. Your eyes remain glued in the passing of time...sixty first year. Yet, The poet keeps her alive with his choice of last verse
"She went home and left me here."
Beautiful love memory embracing togetherness into eternity.

This is the most beautiful love story and love poem I've come across in a long, long time. The rhymes and feelings are perfect. You really poured your soul into this. Do not change one word.

I regret I can only give it one six. I shall remember this, should it come up in the monthly booth. It should.

A love that strong continues even after one has passed. She will be waiting for you when God says it's your time to come home. I too wish everyone could find and keep a love that strong, I have, and it is wonderful. Your poem is fabulous, and I really enjoyed reading it. Although tinged with sadness, it was a lovely start to my day. :) Sandra xxx

I'm so sorry you lost your long and devoted love in the 64th year of your time together. This is a sweet love poem in her memory. The text is a nice size. The message of love is crystal clear. Your visual is a photo of a lovely looking lady.
I would drop the first line of the poem down one space for better balance in the poetry box. What was her name?
Thanks for sharing.

You did a great job with your love/tribute poem to your beloved
wife, Willie. I enjoyed reading it. Her picture is beautiful. Your words
were straight form your heart and told a special love story. The
memories you and she made over the 64 years were awesome I
believe. Congratulations on you and she finding each other as soul
mates.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

What a beautiful love story! You could feel the love in your words. I enjoyed your rhymes. I am also a rhymer. I especially loved the verse about carrying her books. I could just picture that.
