Excellent poem entry for the Rhyming Poetry Contest. You should win the contest.

Great imagery. It flows well with beautifully descriptive words that paint a clear mental picture.

The form is well executed and follows the contest rules. ..

Good luck in the contest!

Thanks, Gypsy. This took a "hell" of a long time to write.

Paul,

Interesting! So, we don't really know if God is pleased that He has fewer things to worry with up there in Heaven or not. Maybe He and His crew are actually getting to enjoy a little break. Who knows? fun stuff!

I would give you 7 stars for this if I could and if this does not win the competition then there is simply something seriously wrong. This poem is hilarious and so clever.
I particularly like, 'sinners on the lower deck' cure aids T shirt'
and 'where in hell he was'. Brilliant!!!! Love Jen.

OMG! I laughed so hard I could hardly breathe! I am thinking that Pat McKee is a politician - but I could be wrong. A google search had several results - but the politician appeared to be the best fit. LOL Thanks for sharing. I would become a fan but FS only lets you do that so many times in a day - so perhaps another time..
Hugs & Blessings from my heart to yours

well, I haven't read the others, but this one is quite fascinating.
To tell a long story is verse is challenging and you not only met it, but the reader can see the fun you had writing it.
If ole Pat should happen to want more company the present administration should be there before too long.
This is an enjoyable, original piece.

What an extraordinary, creative poem. Because it's posted under 'humor,' I knew it wasn't going to be a commentary on all the evil in the world, so I was anxious to see where it would lead.

I'm glad there weren't more evil people who were sent to hell, but rather that hell itself had changed. That line about God hiring Pat McKee is a hoot. I loved the whimsy! Regards, Lilly

Thanks, Lilly. We may have to check on old Pat in an other poem to see how he's doing.

Very innovative. Great rhyming and imagery.
But I fail to understand why the direct attack on a living person, and by extension, an entire nation. Why insult the Irish and feed the English/Irish animus? What if someone wrote the same of a New England Yankee?
I liked your poem. It would be better with a nondescript enemy. This site could be filled with anti Trump material, but what would be the gain?

Thanks for the review, Wayne. Since I am Irish, I thought I might get away with poems like this. This is the fourth poem about old Patrick.

This is huge amounts of fun all the way through. You manage to tell a legible tale without breaking format, which is in itself impressive, but it also happens to be clever and entertaining.

No nits or notes.

I very much enjoyed the read.
