This poem is very beautiful and it gives one hope for the afterlife. I also like the theme of angels watching over us. Your depiction of heavenly helpers and friends is so comforting. This scenario you've painted makes me think of an angel taking a human by the hand and leading them into the realm of Heaven. Wonderful word choices!

My heart goes out to you. No matter what the age of the traveller, the time of transition is difficult for those who have to say goodbye. I hope the perspective of flight and freedom is a comfort to you and yours.

Best wishes sent for your father in law. Excellent use of rhyming words that shows a transition to another realm. Excellent 1-6-1 form and use of words that has a heavenly feel to it.

We all need to scream out at times. This is a lovely 1-6-1 poem, the words are fabulous and they rhyme. One day, each of us will (hopefully) see those white angel wings for ourselves.
