Well, for once the "philosophy" classification rings true. Nothing is more baffling, despite all of the analysis, counting, paring, calibrating and pondering. If I could add or change anything to your excellent line it'd be to change the "a" to "the".
Your words are clever - small space and yet impactful, if the reader stops to think...assuming they have the time, of course.
Very good idea and a very strong entry: I wish you well with this, and your further writing.

Excellent one word line that shows how confusing time is. We use to function but really do not understand it. You have created a poem that invokes thought and I wish you well for the contest.
