This is a fine fiveseventyfive poem, Lo. The form isn't as restrictive as haiku so definitely imagery can be alluded to without concrete imagery.

Nice. I like the 5-7-5s that go above and beyond the syllable count requirement as yours does by including rhyme and a wonderful, coherent image of love at its acme. I don't think my arthritic knees would let me propose these days. Good luck in the contest.
