My thought reading this was that Shana had better have a tetanus shot if she's bloodied herself on a rusty nail. Glad the gunshot sound turned out to be some kind of explosion. Shana learns that Anderson was in the marines. Anderson's family seems very close-knit, and the are similar in many ways to Shana's. Shana's glad to find out that Anderson can make mistakes. Great chapter, and it's a six in my book. judi

I was wondering about the tetanus shot myself and couldn't figure out how to write it in so forgot it. LOL Thank you for the kind review.

You're welcome. Shana could mention it casually when she says it's nothing to be worried about, she's had a tetanus shot. judi

Glad you find a way to work that in. Other readers might have wondered, too. judi

Still a good read. Glad Drew is a bit suspicious of odd booms and things. I love how this is progressing. Glad to see Drew's family has some kind of faith. I suppose that comes from being on a farm. No spags. I am preparing an Acknowledgement page to thank all you guys for your help with my Life Story. It will be a long list of thankyous.

Yikes! Dad started out with a dangerous topic. The last thing you want is an argument about religion. I sense trouble on the way. First, HER father was wary, and now HIS father wants to pry. Won't anyone just leave them alone? No wonder Shana says it can't work. The families won't let it!

Oh so true. She is afraid her father will disown her. OH my!! Is her love for Anderson strong enough to endure this? Thank you for the kind review.

Excellent chapter! And I'm still grinning at Michael's final shot about Jews existing but what do they believe in? Incredible.

As always, my comments and suggestions are below.

and that has you scared (delete-you) so you've searched for a reason to step back.

Stepping (in) front of Shana, Anderson continued, "I see. I'll drop it for now. He held out his arms. "Come here." After Shana cuddled in, he kissed her forehead. ~ Barbara, Shana just turned away and faced the lake and said the relationship would never work. What makes her change her mind so suddenly and drastically that a "Come here" makes her cuddle in just like that?

You're(Your?) dad's sure he's about to starve.

"A more important question is why'd you shove(shoved) her?"

Okay,, I will work on that area a little more. Shana loves Drew, but is scared to get close because of the religious issuses. I see your point. I've made the corrections. Thank you for your help.
